Well the main news in the McDermott household is that today, May 1st is publication day for ‘Echoes of Drowning’.
You can now go out and order your copies online, or direct from me (if you’re in the UK).
I’m very excited to see it published, and for the book launch on the 10th May, which I’m looking forward to especially as I’ve got many people coming along who also supported me with my first novel, which is lovely.
As of writing this, I’ve only got 5 tickets left, so if you want to book, you need to get onto it asap.
This month I’ve had another wonderful morning talking about books and all things publishing, this time with Linden Writers Group who are based at 105.5 radio station in Swindon. They were a lovely group who were very keen to ask lots of questions.
This month also sees the anniversary of the publication of two of my previous books: ‘A Multitude of Stars’ macro poems, published on May 5th 2021, and ‘He is Not Worthy’ my first novel, published on 27th May 2022.
This month’s newsletter is going to be fairly short, because the main news is ‘Echoes of Drowning’, but I’ll share images from the book launch later in the month.
Save the date - 22nd June for Swindon Authors Group book fair in Swindon. More info to follow.
